The need for an innovative, reliable and sustainable heat transfer solution to protect your critical components is becoming more and more important. It enables good flow at low temperatures, a broader operating range and lower flow channels.
High performing dielectric heat transfer fluids offer a long-term proven solution and have been around for 70 years. They provide the perfect balance for your challenges of reliability and safety; reducing operating costs; minimising environmental impact; and maintaining a healthy workplace. 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluids are non-flammable, have a low toxicity and a favourable environmental profile with a short atmospheric lifetime and low Global Warming Potential.
As electronics become increasingly sophisticated, the power they need to process has also multiplied. The rise of advanced electronics, such as those used to power electric and hybrid vehicles, mean that the thermal management of components is becoming an increasingly challenging area for design and test engineering teams. This has led to a rise in the popularity of liquid immersion cooling processes using 3M Novec fluids. They offer an alternative to water or oil-based cooling systems and can be used for a broad range of applications. The evolution of electronics miniaturization has led to increasingly dissipated power densities. To manage this, there are a wide range of Novec products available to meet even the most demanding cooling requirements.
The webinar will be held in English language and participants will get the chance to ask questions in the second part of the session. A certificate will be issued after the webinar.
The presenters:
Catherine Sol, EMEA Product Marketer for Novec Fluids at 3M, holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has been working in Fluoro Chemicals at 3M for eight years.
Rudi Van San, EMEA Application Engineer for Novec fluids at 3M is the co-presenter of the webinar. Rudi has a degree in chemical engineering, and he has 30 years of experience with 3M Electronics, focusing on Novec fluids.
